Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join our team at GAIA London.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress in fine dining restaurant concepts is mandatory

  • Fluent in English, additional languages will be advantageous

  • Currently based in the United Kingdom

  • Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities:

  • Lead floor service to ensure flawless operations and guest satisfaction.

  • Deliver personalized, anticipatory service to guests with professionalism.

  • Train, mentor, and supervise the front-of-house team, maintaining top-tier service standards.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of dishes, ingredients, and wine pairings; communicate offerings with confidence and sophistication.

  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and liaise with kitchen and maître d’ for seamless table and course management.

  • Ensure all table settings, service tools, and dining areas meet the highest levels of cleanliness and visual refinement.
