Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Lighting Operator to join our team at Adaline in Dubai.

Adaline Dubai is seeking a skilled and creative Lighting Operator to join our team. As one of Dubai’s most distinctive dining and live entertainment destinations, Adaline blends fine dining with soul, jazz, and R&B-inspired; live performances alongside curated DJ sets. The Lighting Operator will be responsible for designing, programming, and operating lighting systems to elevate the guest experience, enhancing both dining ambiance and live entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program the lighting console during live music performances, DJ sets, and special events.

• Create dynamic lighting scenes and effects that enhance the mood, atmosphere, and energy of the evening.

• Maintain a refined lighting scheme for dining service and transition smoothly into late-night show settings.

• Conduct daily checks and ensure all lighting equipment is fully operational and safe.

• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruption.

• Collaborate with the Music & Entertainment Director, DJs, and live performers on creative direction.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage equipment with care.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a lighting operator/technician in live music venues, hospitality, or performance settings.

• Strong knowledge of lighting consoles (e.g., MA, Chamsys, Avolites, or similar).

• Understanding of DMX, lighting fixtures, and stage production fundamentals.

• Creative eye for atmosphere, color, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, adaptability, and team collaboration.
