Restaurant Door Manager (Part-Time)

Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Door Manager (Part-Time) to join one of our venues in Dubai. The door manager will be responsible for greeting arriving guests, managing reservations and walk-in waitlists, and setting the initial tone for the dining experience, while working closely with the reception team

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the venue’s door and entrance operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest arrival experience.

• Manage guest lists, reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently.

• Coordinate closely with the reception, reservations, and management teams throughout the evening.

• Monitor guest flow and seating availability to maintain smooth operations.

• Welcome and engage with guests while maintaining a professional and polished presence.

• Handle guest requests and concerns at the door with discretion and professionalism.

• Ensure all door procedures and venue standards are consistently followed.

• Support the management team with the overall guest experience and evening operations.

• Previous experience in a Door Manager, Guest Relations, Host/Hostess, or similar role within a high-end restaurant or nightlife venue.

• Strong knowledge of guest management, reservations, guest lists, and door operations.

• Confident and professional presence with excellent communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle guests with discretion and professionalism.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong coordination and teamwork skills.

• Currently based in Dubai and holding a valid UAE residence visa (own visa).

• Willingness and availability to work part-time (3 nights per week).

• Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
